After you’ve recovered from that remark, perhaps you can tell me what the significance is of that particular date? I’m afraid we follow rugby and cricket in South Africa so baseball is a bit of a mystery.
Hello Val. Thanks for the comments. Regarding the needlework reminder, it makes sense so no problem on the comparison. As for the date, there’s no significance in the baseball world, rather, it was my 24th birthday and my friends threw a party for me and they gave this to me as a present. One of my friends hand drew my name, date and age on the ball and the rest signed it like they were the players from a team. It’s probably one of the only presents I can say that I still have (and know where it is) after 16 years.
